Our Board of Directors is composed of local residents, some immigrants to Israel from the west and some native born Israelis. Members of our Board have a strong sense of volunteerism and are actively involved in and contribute to life in the city.
Yisrael Dancziger, former CEO of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, entrepreneur and CEO of high-tech companies, and a social activist.
Mr. Dancziger served as CEO of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and led reforms, programs and national initiatives in a wide variety of fields. As a high-tech person, Mr. Dancziger was a partner in the establishment, management, acquisitions, mergers and investments in global high-tech companies. Mr. Dancziger was CEO and co-founder of the company “Digital Fuel” which was sold to VMware.
In his social activity, Mr. Dancziger is a partner in the establishment and management of non-for-profits, organizations and national social enterprises in the fields of children and youth at risk, growth in the socio-economic periphery, digital transformation and more.
Meir has lived in Beit Shemesh for 13 years. He is married with five children.
Meir is a project manager at Electro-Optics.
In addition, Meir runs a branch of the Shechan Tov organization, which distributes food supplies to needy families in Beit Shemesh.
Izzy was born in the United States. He has lived in Beit Shemesh for 24 years. He is married with four children and six grandchildren.
Izzy is a software engineer with an MBA. He runs an independent business.
Izzy cares about the growth and welfare of the city of Beit Shemesh. Izzy volunteers for United Hatzalah and Yeddim.
Joel was born in Switzerland. He has lived in Beit Shemesh for 25 years. He is married with four children.
Joel worked for 20 years in a variety of positions at the Jewish Agency in Israel and abroad. Today he works at Yad Vashem as a group facilitator and instructor for groups from Israel and abroad.
It is important for Joel to be involved in projects related to the empowerment of the city of Beit Shemesh, such as the employment project in which he is involved at this stage, and the interpersonal connection with the working persons.
Yitzhak has lived in Beit Shemesh for 30 years. He is married with four children, a grandson and a granddaughter.
Yitzhak has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science and a doctorate from Ben-Gurion University.
Yitzhak was a lecturer in computer sciences at different colleges and the Lev Institute. He is currently a lecturer and head of the Computer Science Department at Herzog College. In addition, he is a teacher and director for mathematics and computer sciences in high schools in Beit Shemesh and the surrounding area.
It is important to Yitzhak to assist in providing advice and guidance in mathematics education, with the intention of increasing the awareness, level and quality of students’ grades in this profession, which serves as a basis and condition for further integration in the high-tech industry.
Ofir is an eighth generation Jerusalemite. Ofir has lived in Beit Shemesh for 25 years. He holds a degree in electronics engineering from the Jerusalem school of technology (Lev Institute) and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
